NO LONGER AVAILABLE DUE TO BURNOUT. Might start again should interest come back, or with a sufficiently interesting request.

Fully-custom talksprites. OCs and non-homestuck characters accepted.

Due to the disproportionately large amount of time I've spent fulfilling talksprite requests, I've decided to restrict requests to point commissions. This price includes a simple animation (EG talking) and possibly a simple alternate wardrobe. The aforementioned additions may be requested, but are not included by default.

Notice: For anyone concerned, I did receive legal permission to perform these commissions. Thank you.
In response to this by RadiantCharizard because the person has decided to block me after the first thing I've ever said to her rather than give me a chance to make a rebuttal. So much for "respecting opinions". It'd be great if this could find its way to her:

You completely missed my point. I neither saw nor care about the tattoo that you removed, and you were not necessarily wrong to remove it from a practical standpoint; it's the posturing that you've assumed on the subject that is the problem, and if you'd take the time to read my previous comment in a less emotionally-charged way, you'd see that I'm far more interested in how you approached the removal than the removal itself.

You have a serious attitude issue, and just because it's your account doesn't mean that it's not a public announcement, or that other people don't have the right to make suggestions to help you react in a more peaceful way. You're clearly frustrated by your experiences here, but feeling offended about it is just going to make you feel worse. It doesn't stop the theft, and it doesn't stop others' lack of thinking, and it doesn't help your art.

I'm tired of posts like that on dA, because they're a cancer on the community. You're not alone on this site, and contrary to what you seem to believe, what you say and do here does have consequence elsewhere; as a person others apparently want to emulate, your attitude encourages others' views and actions.. Which is a problem, when you hold yourself up with accusatorily-antisocial entitlement and look down on all of the little "morons" below you.

To summarise: I'm not saying you shouldn't try to protect something you cherish.. I'm saying that you shouldn't try to make an ethical issue out of it, because that is a slippery slope that too many deviants feel inclined to climb. Also, don't pull the "respect my damn opinion" card when you obviously have no respect for mine.

Something I've been noticing a lot is the prevalence of watermarks... Specifically, watermarks that obscure or distort important visuals of the art they're intended to protect.

While I personally feel that many deviants severely overreact on the matter, I still understand their desire to avoid mis-attribution; a thief claiming your art as their own — or attempting to impersonate you, in severe examples — can have a negative impact on your reputation and success as an artist, and evoke intense feelings of possessiveness. My question is, though, at what point do the countermeasures do as much harm as the problem? If you want to maintain the sanctity and integrity of your art, is defacing it really a valid option? More importantly, how many viewers even care?

I doubt anyone will be reading this, but I'd still very much like to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Hahaha, I have no idea. I'm a freelance graphic designer, working primarily and occasionally for local businesses and organisations. I have a fondness for less formal art, though, and have dabbled in photography, pencil sketching, and even cast jewellery to sell. I've recently been toying with digital sketching, without much success (my gallery can attest to that). I'm incredibly lazy and/or forgetful, too, so hey.

Other than that, there's not much to say. I have a few interests, mainly mainstream stuff like any good hipster (??), and psychology. I love how people work! So yeah. That's about it..

Oh, right. I'm ambidextrous, but tend to favour my left hand for drawing/writing. Yay for smudges! Also, don't let my account's creation date fool you; I only recently moved to this new account from a much older one!
